Becker, a provider of accounting exam reviews and professional education, has launched a new AI learning and study assistant designed to support students preparing for accounting and finance credentialing exams.
Dubbed Newt AI, the assistant is designed to facilitate a deeper understanding of key concepts, provide clear answer explanations, and elaborate on reasoning during exam preparation.
Newt AI has been developed using Becker’s content and curriculum, enhanced with the contextual knowledge of large language models.
It is specifically trained on the content of each credentialing exam to deliver accurate and up-to-date responses, Becker said.
Becker Professional Education president Ed Clark said: “With the launch of Newt AI, we’re thrilled to leverage AI technology to support our learners. Newt represents a significant step forward in making exam prep more efficient and engaging, so our learners can better prepare, confidently pass their credentialing exams, and ultimately achieve more in their careers.
“Offering world class products and resources is central to our mission. Newt AI supports that mission, providing learners with personalized support and instant, reliable answers to their questions.”

Starting from 21 May 2025, Newt AI will be integrated into all Becker CPA, CMA, and EA exam review packages.
Additionally, it will be included in the Becker—The IIA CIA Exam Review later in the year.
Students will be able to interact with Newt AI across various study formats, including course practice questions, practice tests in both “Practice Mode” and “Exam Mode,” as well as while reviewing mini and simulated exam results.
In January 2025, Becker collaborated with the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) to introduce the Becker–The IIA Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) Exam Review in March 2025.
